This past week in U of A sports

Arizona Football
Okay even though many of you know the Arizona's Football squad lost a heart breaker to the Oregon Ducks last Saturday, this does not mean any of the excitement over Arizona Football was just a bunch of bull. This football team looks really strong this year and has continually turned heads this season. And they are still on pace to gain a birth for a legitimate Bowl like the Sun Bowl in San Diego. Still with two games remaining the Cats have to handle business on the road. First up at Tempe where they will fight for the Territorial Cup against the evil empire.. the Arizona State Sun Devils. Now i don't have to tell you the enormity of this game. Even though the Sun Devils really suck this season, the Devils have enough motive to try to play the spoiler. Second the Cats have to travel to L.A. to take on "the power house" USC. This is the turning year in the PAC 10. Teams that were strong are at the bottom of the standings and for once the PAC 10 is being admired by most as the strongest conference in the country. So this year since Arizona Football seems thougher, it wont be such a tall task in beating the USC Trojans. By winning both of their last games the Cats then have a chance to go to an even better bowl this season.

KRINK meets Mini Cooper

In the early 1990's a New York City graffiti artist by the name K.R. developed the famous KRINK ink now used by many graffiti artists around the world. K.R. since then has been finding new ways to get his product known. I have no idea why BMW and K.R. decided to paint a Mini Cooper but i think it looks pretty cool. And i really would not mind driving this car.

Pose and Ewok do each other

Pose and Ewok from The Seventh Letter Crew and M.S.K. where recently in Korea exhibiting some of their art. While there Super Vision Films had a chance to film some of their work in progress, but this time they switched it up a little bit by painting each others names. Enjoy..

The Seventh Letter Crew (The Known Gallery)

Okay so here are a couple of videos from The Known Gallery, an art group based out of L.A. which mainly focuses on graffiti. In October 2009, ÆDIFICA commissioned El Mac to paint a mural in their new offices. He also has close ties with the clothing brand RVCA, and was able to do a mural for them at their headquarters. The thing about these videos is that looking at the murals produced by these artists is one think, but actually being able to see the work in progress is something else. Hope you enjoy seeing these videos as much as I do.

University of Arizona Sports

U of A Men's Basketball:
The Sean Miller Era begins. Arizona Basketball is up and running with its first win against NAU (71-84). Now that Arizona Football has established itself as a threat not only in the PAC 10 but in the country, its time for Arizona Basketball to do the same.

U of A Football:
After ending homecoming with 3 strait wins, unfortunately the Cats dropped their 3rd loss of the season to the California Bears (16-24). It seemed as though the offense never could start going do to the Cal defense smothering the inside run. Nick Foles never seemed to get the offense into rhythm. Now that the Cats have moved into the number forth spot in the PAC 10 standings, their hopes to go to the Rose Bowl are still a possibility if they can beat the Oregon Ducks this Saturday. The Ducks seem pretty strong on both sides of the ball but if our offense can start producing early the Cats have a good shot to pull out a win. Not to mension that Saturday's game is going to be broadcast on National Television and College Gameday, the premier pregame show will be at the U of A campus for the game too. Now lets see what Wildcat Football is really made of.
