Its Here.. and Its Spectacular

Why is it that i have this feeling that after the last seconds tick off the year of 2009, we or the whole world for that matter will never be the same. This decade has been the best of times while everything seemed to fall apart around us. The decade of turmoil seems to come to an end so quickly and all we can do is watch. While the towers fell and icons passed away. While the economy collapsed and i myself had to help people from collapsing.. it ended to quickly. Is it the people around me? Was it that anytime spent worth remembering was during this decade? It might just be that we were alive during these times. Still i cant help myself wonder of what could have been.. if the one we all call Bush had never become president.. if the Arizona Basketball team hadn't lost in the National Championship game against Duke.. if the towers hadn't fallen.. or if both wars had never started. Well obviously you cant live in a world of "what if's".. its pointless. And as we ourselves not only end a big step of our lives in 2010.. we start the rest of our lives. Some head of to college and some stay home. But as i bring my last post of the decade to an end i erg you to look back and soak it all in, because the first decade of the new millennium was one to remember. Now hold your breath, go balls deep, and make the most of it. Happy New Year.

Arizona Football Win a Lock

Why will Arizona win in the Holiday Bowl? First let me start off by saying look at the conferences. Under rated and under appreciated.. that was the PAC 10 this season. With no teams really finishing where they were predicted to finish the PAC 10 was a tough conference even though a lot of sport analyzers didn't give it enough credit. But Nebraska conference is the BIG 12.. the only teams they have to worry about playing are Texas and maybe Missouri. While Arizona each week except when they played Washington State had to be worried about another loss, because that's how close their conference was. Okay now on to the game. Everyone is making this big deal on the outstanding Defensive Tackle Nebraska has called Ndamukong Suh. I'm not gonna lie, this kid is great, and probably going to be the #1 pick in this years NFL Draft. But even though he is a good DT, his game lacks talent in his pass rushing. Now if you know anything about Arizona Football is that they like to through the ball. Also as good as the Defensive Line is for Nebraska, the Offensive Line for the Wildcats is even better. Arizona Offensive Line this season gave up only 10 sacks this season and ended the regular season in 3rd place for quarterback protection in Division 1 football. Now since the focus is on Nebraska's Defense, let me make another point. Ndamukong Suh is noted for having the ability to stop the running game tremendously by taking on offensive lineman blocks really well, which in turn free up the his linebackers to make plays. Well Arizona isn't always willing to risk the run. Arizona Football this season while under the command of Nick Foles as quarterback as been a team which likes to pass first to open up the running game. There is no doubt in my mind that this is what Arizona will do. And since Arizona's Offensive Line does really good with pass rush this is another plus for the Arizona Offense to produce points during the Holiday Bowl. Okay now the Arizona Defense. While Nebraska is highly marked by having a really good defense, its Offense is anything but impressive. Nebraska on occasion has plenty of trouble moving the ball. Ad on the great defensive line of Arizona which includes Brook Reeds, Ricky Elmore, and Earl Mitchell. Oh yeah and with a great set of linebackers (Vuna Tuihalamaka, Xavier Kelley, Brandon Born) and an even better secondary (Trevin Wade, Devin Ross, Mike Turner, Trevor Foster) Arizona's Defense has shown time and time again that it to can be a struggle to deal with. Oh yeah i almost forgot to mention two things. First Arizona's Special Teams have really improved all around since the beginning of the season. And the Second is Nic Grigsby. Since November 21 when Arizona played Oregon, Nic Grigsby has been out with a re-aggravating shoulder problem, but since he had over a month and a half to heel and prepare you know Arizona will be better with Nic Grigsby in the lineup. Not to mention the 1-2 punch him and back up running back Keola Antolin will make come the Holiday Bowl.
Now its up to you to see if Arizona can really imrpove their status as another power house team out of the PAC10 conference. Tune in to watch the game.

The Ghost Village Project

In 1976 a small village was constructed to house more then 500 oil workers on the coast of Scottland. But there was one problem... the workers never showed up. Agents of Change a small group of graffiti artists happened to stumble upon the bleak and remote location which had lain empty and abandoned since its completion. Well these 6 graffiti artist (Timid, Remi/Rough, System, Stormie Mills, Juice 126, Derm) decided to bring the people and characters of the village back to its original place by working together on huge collarborate walls and individually on small locations troughout the complex. Painting on tile, brick, concrete, wood and any other texture around the village they completed the project in three days. The village now still serves no real purpose other then to be a eye sore but now the ghost village is populated with the art and characters that it deserved. Enjoy..

My Buddies

Most people take for granted how much they love being around their friends. Well today was pretty fun. First we got out of school early so that was a plus, then after going to practice i went to go pick up Frank. Then after going home to get money we had to drive all the way to Hillary's house to pick her up. Finally we ended up going to Bison Witches, a sandwich restaurant which is so good. I got the BLT of course, Frank the imitation Philly Cheese Steak, and Hillary i forgot what she got. After we ate we went to go walk around 4th ave doing some illegal things on the way. Then we went to University Boulevard were we walked around some more. Well the point to all this is even though we just had a normal day hanging out it was so fun. Hope we keep having good times like these, especially this weekend after Moon Valley.
Oh and go check out my friends blogs:

No Ukulele For Me

So because my friend took the idea of posting the ukulele kid video on his blog i had to find another subject. Fortunately i have been waiting to post this artist by the name of Exile. He really just makes beats, but recently he has tried to instill the fact that beat making, much like music, can be done live. Well anyways he is pretty talented and really knows how to put it down. Check him out..

Popularity is Overrated

If you were like me when you where young you might have watched a lot of TV. Well what i got out of watching so much TV is a pre-conceived notion of my future to come, including how high school might be like. I usually thought high school was going to be this place were me along with all the other popular kids would run the school like we were the shit. That to every party i went it would be a house party in a two story house where people just hung out and drank and did things in bedrooms (if you catch my drift). That along with being smart i might be a jock that was known by a lot of my peers. Well it didn't really pan out that way..  thank god. High school is never going to be what you might have thought it would once you finished junior high. But that is what high school is completely for. After being there for almost 4 years now i know that to grow as an individual you must want to be different in order to mature and later interact in everyday society, like when you go to college. But what came out of not being popular is this great set of friends. Many of whom are nerds. Many of whom are just plain funny. Manny of whom are just a blast to hang around. And because we are not set to that boundary of being popular we always do what we want and forget that rest because we have a blast. Like two Saturday's ago.. me, Frank and Hillary were not really planning on going to Crystal's little kickback, but we did end up going. The fun times and laughs we had were so enjoyable that i don't picture myself spending the rest of my senior year with anyone else but this group of people. And even though its almost over you have to love the fact that we are having a way better time now then we did years before. So soak it up because many of us wont ever see each other ever again in a couple of months. And to Frank and Hillary.. the drive home from Crystal's was awesome. I would not trade that for anything in the world. So here is some pics of that night.

First Stream of Consciousness

Anyone taking Mrs. Crane's class knows how this past week has been. More of us have been more stressed then others. But if you had a chance to make it work and finish your research essay by Friday.. congratulations. Some of us had to stay up for 24 hours to finish. Some of us had to skip parts of it. Some of us had to do both. But even though we were stressed and freaked out about this project, we really got a chance to see deadline responsibility and get a taste of what college is really like. But now the papers are in and most of us did what ever we could.. so it is out of our hands. So now go an realx.. go out and party.. our just go to bed. You have no reason to worry because its the weekend. Because i know the world has been lifted off my shoulders...
Oh and heres a picture taken by Saber, another graffiti artist (maybe one of the best) of the L.A. sky at dusk...

Holiday Bowling

As i knew, the Arizona offense was to much much for USC to handle. Arizona seiled its destiny by inproving its regular season record to 8-4. For the first season since 1998 The Arizona Football squad had the most wins one of them to USC who they hadn't beaten since 2000. Councidently last time Arizona was in the Holiday Bowl they faced the Nabraska Corn Huskers and pulled out a close one (23 - 20). Now since the Wildcats ended up secound in the PAC 10 they automaticlly got a bid for the Holiday Bowl which they acccepted. The game will take place in San Diego on December 30. But dont count on getting tickets because all tickets have already been sold out. Now the Corn Huskers shouldnt be taken to lightly, yet othey are no power house. The only thing to be afraid of is the Nabraska Defense. Still even though there defense is strong its not like Arizona Football hasnt taken on good defenses in Oregon and USC. Also the Corn Huskers offense has a real tough time trying to move the ball so that will be another plus for Arizona to win. There is no doubt in my mind that the Arizona Football squad can pull out another win, and hopefully be ranked at the beginning of next season. Now tune in to the Holiday Bowl on December 30th to see what happens.

No One Happier then ZENDEJAS

YES!!! Another win in the bag, but not just any win, but a win to the Sun Devils. Nothing is better then beating the your arch-rivel right at the end just when they think they have a chance to win. Now lets take another from USC.
