We Found a Good One Coach O'

When he was hired by Arizona no one even cared. When he promised national respect nobody even believed him. And when he brought success no one could get enough of him. Lute Olson after building the Mens Basketball program at Iowa came to The U of A with one goal in mind.. to become a power house school in basketball. He certainly did that. After making Arizona Basketball what it is today it was inevitable that he wasn't going to be there as long as Arizona fans would have liked. From his indefinite leave of absence, to Kevin O'Neil stepping in. From Lute Olson's retirement, to Russ Pennells admirable run in the NCAA tournament. And now Sean Miller. His enthusiastic love of the game and he's nose to smell out talent, has me very impressed on what he can accomplished. Yeah i know what your telling yourself.. Arizona Mens Basketball is not doing that great. Well the first year of a new coach and the fact that the whole team is mostly made out of freshmen has them down this year. Even with all that i know that this team can still make it to the "Big Dance" and turn some heads this year.
You might be asking yourself what got me to blog about this, well i actually went to the U of A game against Washington State on Friday. Even though Arizona did loose a heartbreaker to The Cougars, there was a very bright spot of that night. WE MET LUTE OLSON. I mean we shook his hand and took a picture, so i guess you can say we really didnt meet him. Still it was something that i needed to check off my bucket list and that friday i got to do it. Thanks Coach Olson.
